The booth app is a Windows kiosk that drives the camera and printer you already own. Install it, pair it to your OiBooth account with a six-character code, and it pulls its event, frames and branding from your dashboard.

One installer, carrying the camera, print and background-removal pieces with it, so a booth PC with no internet at the venue still works.
The download lives in your dashboard, with a checklist that remembers where you got to. A booth pairs to an account with a code from that dashboard, so the installer on its own has nothing to talk to.
What the booth PC needs
- Operating system
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- Processor
- Any recent 64-bit Intel or AMD. A NUC is plenty.
- Memory
- 8 GB RAM, or 16 GB if you record video every session
- Disk
- 2 GB for the app, plus room for the night’s photos and video
- Camera
- Any webcam or UVC source, including a DSLR via EOS Webcam Utility
- Printer
- Any printer with a Windows driver. We test on a DNP DS-RX1HS.
- Network
- Wifi or ethernet to pair and upload. The booth runs offline after that.
Everything else runs in the browser on any computer, Mac included: events, frames, backdrops, galleries and analytics. Only the booth needs Windows, because that is where the camera and printer drivers live.
What setting one up looks like
Four things, once per booth.
Roughly ten minutes on the booth PC. The full version, with every field and the printer settings, is a checklist in your dashboard that you follow there rather than memorise here.
Install it on the booth PC
One Windows installer, no other downloads. It carries the camera, print and background-removal pieces with it.
Pair it with your account
Add the booth in your dashboard, then type the six-character code into the app once. You never type it again.
Point it at your camera and printer
Pick both from a list of what Windows already has, then set paper size and cutter once in the printer driver.
Assign an event and go live
The booth pulls that event’s frames, filters and branding from the dashboard, and picks up changes within a minute. No restart, no USB stick.
